Moon Diving 2018

Series of works since 2017-2018
The exhibition speaks of diving into the depths of body, soul and self-work in the journey of life, dealing with questions of releasing- habits, nthought patterns, prejudice and mind trash. Devotion for what we have and stop chasing doubts. Taking action when it's time to act, and pay attention when life reflects us the way we behaving.

Diving into the depths of the moon, to the depths of female energy that went into effect at the present time in which we are living at.
In the depths of the moon you will find sensitivity and the manifestation of this sensitive emotions. The moon has his effect on us and it’s a matter of balance in how we react to it.

The dive itself indicates dedication and total entry into the depths. In this case we dive in to the depths of the soul, that life forces us to confront them. We got the free choice just so we will think we are in control but the truth is we do not control anything. The whole point is to choose releasing the control we do not have anyway.

The body of works which has been created over the past year dealt with the subject of devotion from alsides. The subject Devotion stemmed from the artist's personal process, from her coping with it and with the range of emotions that appeared, in real time.
In this group of works the water appears as a Leitmotif. The water has a lot of meanings in the physical and the metaphysical world. In the physical world, the ocean is a territory that has not yet been conquered, an entire world full of wisdom and secrets, unknown life, endless creatures and of course a lot of depth. The water is fascinating to observe, reflections of light that penetrate into the depths, shimmering on the surface. The ocean - like canvas, absorbs the colors of creation and reflect them back to the world, a symbiosis of balanced Giving and receiving.

In addition, I find that the water ripples are the parallel of nature to the law of action-response, the water resonates their reaction
in different ways and in harmony, sometimes in circles and sometimes in ripples which vary according to the intensity of the action performed in them (wind, inner or outside life). To me, all this mystery Implies to us that the “IS” is infinite and there is no end. From the philosophical and metaphysical side, from
India to the Kabala, the water receives similar meanings. As known, water is one of the five elements; the water element symbolizes emotion and sensitivity (tears), movement and seepage downward.

Its symbol is an inverse triangle - downward movement.

Each painting in particular was a result of a particular process in my journey while it was taking place. Each piece came to tell about the process and claimed the energies and the insights that were assimilated from this process. There are only women figures in this body of works and that’s because the water and the moon are related to feminine energy who is struggling with a lot of emotion.
